1.0 Vessel Summary & Compliance
This quotation is for the construction of one (1)Â UBI 1850Â high-speed aluminum passenger catamaran, built to the specifications provided.
- Design & Construction Standard: The vessel will be constructed in accordance with the supplied principle particulars and ISO standards. We note your reference to ISO Certificate: ONE TRIPLE ONE 201, which we interpret as a commitment to build to high-quality management and construction standards (ISO 9001, etc.). For commercial operation, the vessel must be certified by a recognized marine authority or classification society for the intended area of operation.
- Recommended Certification Path: For a 50-passenger commercial ferry, we strongly recommend engaging a Notified Body (e.g., RINA, DNV, or Bureau Veritas) for plan approval and survey during construction. This will ensure compliance with international safety codes for high-speed craft (such as the IMO HSC Code or regional equivalents) and is essential for insurance and licensing.

3.0 Key Clarifications & Exclusions
- Engines:Â The price assumes standard 300HP outboard models. Final cost will depend on the selected brand and model (e.g., Yamaha V6 300HP, Suzuki DF300AP).
- Electronics & Navigation: The base price includes only essential systems (wiring, switches, lights). A complete package for commercial operation (Radar, GPS/Plotter, VHF, AIS, Sounder) is excluded and must be budgeted separately.
- Interior Finish:Â The price includes fixed seating for 50 passengers. Higher-grade upholstery, cabin headlining, flooring, and a finished toilet compartment would be an upgrade.
- Certification & Survey Fees: All fees for the external Classification Society (e.g., DNV, RINA) or flag state surveyor for plan review, construction inspection, and final certification are not included. This is a critical and required cost for commercial operation.
- Shipping, Insurance, & Delivery: Excluded. Cost depends on destination port.
